Agtergrond van die werkswinkel
Die volhoubare ontwikkelingsdoelwitte (SDG's) van Agenda 2030 het interdissiplinariteit gevestig as die sleutel tot die oplossing van sogenaamde 'goddelose probleme' en as 'n kwaliteitmaatstaf in die EU-raamwerk van innoverende doktorale onderwys (EU 2011, p. 6)[1]. Navorsing het getoon dat kwaliteit ESD vereis dat studente 'n reeks sleutelbevoegdhede ontwikkel soos stelseldenke, strategiese agentskap, samewerkende vaardighede, kritiese en kreatiewe probleemoplossing, selfbewustheid en diepgaande begrip van verskillende normatiewe waardes (UNESCO 2017)[2 ]. Hoe hierdie bevoegdhede in kurrikulums geïntegreer en in die onderwyspraktyk aangemoedig kan word, is egter nog onduidelik in interdissiplinêre doktorale onderwys.
Hierdie werkswinkel is deel van 'n navorsingsprojek wat deur die Suid-Afrika Swede Universiteitsforum (SASUF) befonds word en word uitgevoer in samewerking tussen die Universiteit Stellenbosch en Walter Sisulu Universiteit in Suid-Afrika, en Lund Universiteit en Malmö Universiteit in Swede. Die projek het ten doel om 'n konteks-sensitiewe raamwerk vir die ontwikkeling van interdissiplinêre doktorale navorsing te skets, en om hierdie rede kan jy kies om deel te neem aan ons navorsingsprojek deur jou betrokkenheid by die werkswinkel (sien afsonderlike inligting oor toestemming). Jou keuse sal nie die werkswinkelaktiwiteite beïnvloed nie.
