Central Analytical Facilities' (CAF) Neuromechanics Unit, Coetzenburg Sports Complex, Stellenbosch University, Stellenbosch.
Stellenbosch University's (SU) Central Analytical Facilities' (CAF) Neuromechanics Unit is thrilled to announce the Biomechanics Winter School: "Quantifying Movement in Engineering, Sport Science and Medicine" as part of an initiative driven by the SU Division for Research Development. The program is designed specifically for students and postgraduates in Engineering, Sport Science or Medicine. This immersive winter school aims to equip participants with advanced biomechanical assessment techniques and data-driven clinical decision-making methods. As biomechanics rapidly evolves both in South Africa and globally, this program offers hands-on experience with cutting-edge equipment, enhancing skills crucial for advancing healthcare and research outcomes.
Over an intensive three-day period, participants will engage in interactive lectures, practical workshops, and collaborative projects. The program is dedicated to fostering inclusivity, providing financial assistance to students from Historically Disadvantaged Institutions (HDIs). Join us at SU for a unique opportunity to deepen your expertise, gain practical experience, and be part of the future of biomechanics innovation.
