​DSI-NRF Postgraduate Scholarships 2023

The National Research Foundation invites all 2023 postgraduate students, full-time students not in salaried employment (contractual or permanent) while studying to apply for funding support NOW. You should apply for this funding opportunity even if you are not sure if you are going to be accepted into PG studies for 2023.

Closing date for Masters and doctoral scholarships:  8 July 2022​

General Criteria

• Full-time students not in salaried employment (contractual or permanent);
• Achieved a minimum of 65% at Honours level or Final year of a​​ four-year degree for master's scholarships;
• Achieved a minimum of 65% at master's level for doctoral scholarships;
• 30 years or younger if applying for masters scholarships;
• 32 years or younger if applying for doctoral scholarships;
