​​​SU International's Centre for Collaboration in Africa (CCA) and the University's Division of Research Development (DRD) administer a number of mobility grants specifically aimed at strengthening partnerships with SU's African partners. Research Development Mobility

The Division of Research Development (DRD) offers various mobility grants. These include the DRD travel grant, the Knowledge Interchange & Collaboration (KIC) grant, the Newton Fund grant, and the Scientific Travel Fund (Subcommittee C) grant.

The Centre for Collaboration in Africa further administer ad-hoc travel grants of up to R17500, and staff and Postgraduate student mobility opportunities to selected partners in other African countries as part of the European Commission funded Intra-Africa programme.

Africa Collaboration Grant

The Centre for Collaboration in Africa (CCA) at SU International, invites applications​ for the 12th call of the Africa Collaboration Grant (ACG). The ACG has been expanded to also offer Conference Grants to postgraduate students and Partner Development Grants for postdoctoral fellows, in addition to opportunities for Stellenbosch University staff.
