Die energiebedryf is een van die mees dinamiese ter wêreld. Aangevuur deur voortdurende innovasie en tegnologiese vooruitgang, is dit besig om vining te verander en invloedryker te word in areas soos die wetenskap, ingenieurswese, finansies, ekonomie, besigheid, beleid, regte, bemarking en joernalisme. Dit beteken ook vele interessante werksgeleenthede in hierdie areas.

Indien jy ˈn loopbaan in die energiebedryf oorweeg – of dalk nog nooit daaraan gedink het nie maar meer wil uitvind – woon ˈn seminaar by van die Verenigde Nasies Industriële Ontwikkelingsorganisasie (UNIDO) en die Suid-Afrikaanse Vereniging vir Energie-ekonomie (SAAEE).

Die energiebedryf is deurslaggewend vir sosio-ekonomiese groei en ontwikkeling en die bevordering van omgewingsvolhoubaarheid. Dit is die aandrywer van belangrike infrastruktuurontwikkeling wat nodig is om werk vir jou te skep! Dit is ook die transmissielyn tot die digitale ekonomie en die 4de Industriële Revolusie. Indien jy in die energiebedryf werk, sal jy ˈn groot verskeidenheid geleenthede kry om 'n positiewe impak op die wêreld te maak en die toekoms te help skep wat jy graag wil sien – jy sal ˈn inkomste verdien en terselfdertyd klimaatsverandering help beveg.

About the SAAEE

The South African Association for Energy Economics (SAAEE) is a nonprofit, non-partisan, and impartial professional association intended to establish a national forum for energy specialists from all professions and spheres of the energy sector (academia, industry, government, private and public sector) and play an advisory role for future good decision making in policy propositions and implementations.

The SAAEE activities are developed with the main aim to: i) exchange ideas and experiences in a perspective of energy issues, ii) stimulate high-quality, informed, scientific and evidence-based dialogue, iii) contribute towards the improvement of public and policies in energy sector, iv) promote nationally and internationally collaborative works with similar organizations, v) disseminate multi-disciplinary knowledge and expertise, through workshops and training opportunities, vi) improve the understanding of energy economics for the general public, vii) encourage collaboration and joint production of scientific products among energy specialists, viii) and maintain the global exchange of ideas in energy economics within the network of IAEE and the other affiliates.​
