Do you want to become an ecologist, a mathematician, a geologist or a microbiologist? We offer a wide choice of academic programmes structured in such a way to prepare our graduates for their role as professional scientists.
Are you already looking forward to your graduation, or are you considering postgraduate studies?
We attract full-time and part-time postgraduate students from South Africa, Africa and abroad through formal international linkages and exchange programmes.
All study programmes are subject to selection, based on marks and number of students that can be accommodated per programme. The minimum requirement is a National Senior Certificate mark of 65%. Closing date is 30 June of the preceding year.
Students have access to the campus network and IT systems via about 2500 computers on campus. Access Webstudies through your own smart phone, tablet or laptop, or purchase a laptop or smart phone from IT at special student rates.
Postgraduate research and studies are supported by modern equipment and highly qualified and experienced staff. We offer an incentive programme for doctoral students. New masters and doctoral students can also qualify for bursaries.
