THE IMPORTANCE OF RESEARCH COLLABORATION IN AFRICA
In celebrating Africa Day today we reflect, among others, on how we can address some of the continent’s unique challenges and create a better future for its people. One of the ways to do this is through research collaboration between African scientists in different disciplines. With 400 active collaborative projects on the continent, Stellenbosch University is recognizing African knowledge through the various programmes run by our office for internationalization, Stellenbosch University International. Forming African partnerships is just one of our ways of living the mandate: ‘Rooted in Africa, global in reach.’
