The Faculty of Science provides a solid foundation in the basic sciences as required in the general science professions, as well as for professional degrees such as engineering, medicine and actuarial science. Due to the rapid changes in the modern world-of-work, we prepare students with the necessary skills set for the 21st century. This is achieved through a culture of research excellence, coupled with innovation and entrepreneurship, amongst both staff and students.
