Clinical Services
The Division offers a wide array of clinical services, including:
- Comprehensive assessment and management of respiratory diseases, both on an inpatient and outpatient basis.
- Specialised clinics for obstructive lung diseases, interstitial lung diseases, structural lung diseases, pulmonary hypertension, lung cancer and pleural diseases.
- Advanced interventional pulmonology services, including bronchoscopy and pleural procedures.
- Collaboration with Oncology and Surgery to manage patients spanning the disciplines.
- Remote consultation and management of complex patients via our online referral pathway.
- Outreach to various district level hospitals to provide consultatory support as well as upskill and strengthen skills within these services.
- Comprehensive management of critically ill patients from all disciplines.
Social Impact Endeavours
The Division actively engages in community outreach and education programs aimed at raising awareness about lung health, particularly in relation to TB and lung cancer prevention. These initiatives seek to improve public health outcomes and reduce the burden of respiratory diseases in the community.
