General enquiries
Manages the Assessment Administration Office (Tygerberg campus) in support of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FMHS).
Responsible for the timetabling, planning and coordination of invigilated written and electronic assessments.
Supports the FMHS to ensure compliance with university and faculty assessment policies and procedures.
Coordinates assessment concessions and re-evaluations in collaboration with the FMHS and university role players,
Responsible for the appointment, training and management of assessment invigilators.
Administers and supports the FMHS with student leave of absence applications for all compulsory academic activities.
Supports the FMHS internal and external moderation processes for all modules and external examination processes for taught modules,
Manages the secure handling of assessment material, assessment incidents and supports the quality assurance of assessments.

General enquiries
Provides central administrative services and advice to students, staff and external role-players regarding assessment activities of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FMHS).
Supports the coordination of assessment planning and scheduling, and the administration of invigilated written and electronic assessments.
Administers processes related to external examination, assessment concessions and re-evaluations of written scripts.
Administers and supports the FMHS with student leave of absence applications for all compulsory academic activities.
Supports invigilator appointment and allocations, supervision and training, and administers invigilator payments.
Supports the FMHS to ensure compliance with relevant assessment policies, regulations, and quality standards.
Responsible for the secure handling of assessment material, management and reporting of assessment incidents and supports the quality assurance of assessments.
