Leads the Centre for Academic Administration (CAA) in support of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences
Oversees strategic planning, operations, and staff management within the CAA
Drives institutional projects and academic administration improvements
Collaborates with university leadership and external stakeholders to align CAA services with SU goals
Provides oversight over student services, academic record integrity, and the FMHS’s compliance with professional councils (e.g. Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) and the South African Nursing Council (SANC))

FMHS readmission
Provides strategic and operational support to the Deputy Registrar and faculty leadership on academic administration and quality assurance matters.
Oversees the editorial and content updates of the FMHS Yearbook.
Liaises with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) and the South African Nursing Council (SANC) on student registrations, qualifications, and training programmes.
Supports the management of the Undergraduate Bursaries and Loans Office (Tygerberg campus) and supports financial aid processes in collaboration with central SU structures.
Supports final year students with the National Department of Health’s application process for internship and community service placements.
Serves as secretariat to key academic committees including the Readmission Appeals Committee and the Undergraduate and Postgraduate Teaching Committees.

Coordinates the compilation of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FMHS) almanac
Provide administrative support to the FMHS Readmission Appeals applicants and committee
Manages the coordination and execution of the FMHS pledge ceremonies in collaboration with the FMHS Event Coordinator
