Academic attire

Our University recently launched its new vibrant academic attire, which serves as an extension of the institutions visual identity. Click here to read more about the University’s academic attire and guidelines.

It is mandatory to wear the correct academic attire for your graduation ceremony. Academic attire will be available for all current graduates and past graduates on campus to rent/buy from our supplier, Dippenaar & Reinecke, for the respective ceremonies, photos and private events.

When and where to collect and return your academic attire

Dippenaar & Reinecke will be at the ​Coetzenburg athletics refreshment kiosk in Stellenbosch (next to the Coetzenburg athletics stadium) from Friday 21 March to Thursday 27 March. All collections and returns must be done at this venue during the times below. Click here to view the Athletics Kiosk’s location.
