Dr Sandi Holgate

After completing internship and a further year of work in Pietermaritzburg, KZN, Dr Holgate worked in the United Kingdom and then Australia for 4 years.  She started her first year of Paediatric training in Brisbane, Australia.  She subsequently completed her Paediatric training at Red Cross Hospital and the University of Cape Town.  She then specialised further in neonatology at Groote Schuur Hospital.  She has been employed as a neonatologist at Tygerberg Hospital since 2006.

Dr Holgate is a member of the United South African Neonatal Association where she has been treasurer since 2016.
