Diagnostic Services: Medical Microbiology and Immunology
The SANAS accredited NHLS Medical Microbiology and Immunology laboratories are located in Tygerberg Hospital and offer diagnostic services to a large part of the Western Cape. Routine tests include bacterial identification and susceptibility testing, identification of parasites and fungi, infectious serology and molecular testing.
