Undergraduate programmes

Two programmes are offered at undergraduate level at Stellenbosch University (SU): a mainstream programme and an extended degree programme (EDP). These programmes are SAQA accredited.

The purpose of the undergraduate programme is to train a physiotherapist who will be able to qualify for registration with the statutory Health Professions Council of South Africa. This physiotherapist will have acquired the basic knowledge, skills and attitudes to function within the South African health care context as a reflective practitioner within the philosophy and values inherent to the physiotherapy profession.​
