Dr Edrich Engelbrecht

Dr Engelbrecht is a registrar in ophthalmology. He obtained his MBChB from the University of Stellenbosch in 2005. He completed his internship at Pelonomi/Universitas Hospital Complex in Bloemfontein and community service at the Military Health Unit in Nelspruit.  In 2008 he joined the Ophthalmology department at Rob Ferreira Hospital in Nelspruit as a medical officer.  He also worked as a medical officer in Ireland in 2010. He joined the Ophthalmology department at Stellenbosch University as a medical officer in 2013 and started as registrar in July 2013.  He has successfully completed the Diploma in Ophthalmology (CMSA) and the FC.Ophth. (SA) part 1A.
