PhD Graduation

On the photo (from left to right) is Prof Robert Gie, Head of Clinical Units: Paediatric Intensive Care and Paediatric Pulmonology; Dr Pierre Goussard, senior specialist in Paediatric Pulmonology; Prof Mariana Kruger, Executive Head of the Department of Paediatrics and Child Health; Dr Ronald van Toorn, Head of Paediatric Neurology and Prof Johan Schoeman, Emeritus Head of Paediatric Neurology.

Dr Goussrd's dissertation title is "Bronchoscopic assessment and management of children presenting with clinically significant airway obstruction due to tuberculosis", as supervised by Prof Robert Gie.

Dr Van Toorn's disseration title is "Childhood tuberculous meningitis: Challenging current management strategies" as supervised by Proff Schoeman and Simon Schaaf.

 

On the photo (from left to right) is Prof Robert Gie, Ms Penny Enarson and Prof Mariana Kruger. The title of Ms Enarson's dissertation is "Improving the quality of care for inpatient management of childhood pneumonia at the first level referral hospital: a country wide programme", as supervised by Proff Robert Gie, Stephen Graham and Dr Neil Cameron. Ms Enarson received her PhD degree in the Department of Interdisciplinary Sciences.
