The Faculty of Military Science, Stellenbosch University and the School of Military Science, University of Namibia would like to invite and welcome you to the international conference on
Managing Resources in the Public Sector of Developing Countries.
The conference will take place on the scenic West Coast of South Africa, at Saldanha Bay, approximately 120 kilometres north of the legendarily beautiful Cape Town.
The conference will be co-hosted by the Faculty of Military Science, Stellenbosch University and the School of Military Science, University of Namibia and the aim is to connect researchers, academics, students, communities and practitioners to share information, research findings and experiences on several aspects in the fields of management of resources in the public sector of developing countries.
The conference also provides an international platform for networking and bringing together emerging researchers (e.g., doctoral and MPhil Students) to present their work-in-progress and receive feedback from established scholars in the field.

Location: The Conference will be held from
Wednesday 9 October to Friday 11 October 2024,
at the Faculty of Military Science in Saldanha Bay South Africa. The Conference is being organised on behalf of the Faculty of Military Science, Stellenbosch University , and the School of Military Science,
University of Namibia.
Submissions: We welcome submissions of abstracts in English by 1 May 2024. Each submission will undergo a peer review process. You will be notified by 15 May 2024 if your abstract has been accepted. The submission date for the full paper is 30 June 2024. Submitted papers will go through a peer review process and authors will be notified of the outcome by 20 July 2024.
Student submissions can be in the form of a full/draft paper (including an abstract) of no more than 500 words and a cover page with details of the author(s).
Please adhere to the full paper final submission date of 30 June 2024. Authors will be able to present the paper during the conference in person/face-to-face ONLY. It is important to note that the presenting author must complete the conference registration process and payment to secure their participation. We look forward to receiving your valuable contributions at the DORM Conference.

Registration: Opens on 1 April and closes on 9 September 2024.

Payment: Early-bird registration for the conference is available from 1 April until 31 July 2024. After this period, the standard rate will apply until 9 September 2024, when registration closes.

Abstracts: The final submission deadline is 31 May 2024.
