The Faculty of Education at Stellenbosch University, guided by the principles of transformation and social impact, is dedicated to empowering communities and driving transformative change at local, continental, and global levels. Through our Social Impact Division, we are committed to advancing the mission of Stellenbosch University by leveraging education as a powerful tool for societal enrichment and empowerment.

Engaged Scholarship: We conduct rigorous research and scholarship that is deeply engaged with the needs and challenges of society. Through our research endeavours, we seek to generate knowledge that informs and empowers education communities to address pressing societal issues.
Co-curricular Learning: We provide innovative and experiential learning opportunities that complement formal education, equipping students with the knowledge, skills, and values needed to become active agents of change in their communities.
