SU International can create tailored short programmes for international groups on demand. These programmes are taught partly, if not exclusively, by academic staff from the sending institution. As such, they're intended for participants from the sending institution and are not available to independent applicants.
The cost of a tailored short programme depends on its scope and length. SU International will also levy an administrative fee.
Current programmes include groups from the following universities:
- Leiden University
- Northwestern University
- University of Georgia
- University of Warwick
- Virginia Tech University
General conditions
Discussions regarding a potential tailored programme should be initiated at least one year in advance. This is to ensure that accommodation is available, budget deadlines are met and programme details put in place. If required, a formal short-programme agreement can be entered into between Stellenbosch University and the sending institution.
