The purpose of the Erasmus + scholarships is to support academic
exchanges in and between Erasmus + Programme Countries and Partner
Your study period abroad can last from a minimum of 3 months (or 1 academic term or trimester) to a maximum of 12 months.
One of the most important requirements for you to be able to make use of Erasmus + funding, is that Stellenbosch University and the receiving institution have an inter-institutional agreement in place.

Call for applications: Erasmus+ Student mobility grant
SU International is happy to send out a call for applications in the context of the Erasmus+ KA1 International Credit Mobility with our partner, University of Torino (UniTO), Italy.
The mobility period abroad shall last at least 3 months or 1 academic term or trimester.There is ongoing research collaboration between colleagues at Stellenbosch University, Department of Chemistry and Polymer Science and the Department of Drug Science and Technology at the University of Torino (UniTO).
Eligible activities during the mobility at UniTO include:
- courses attendance and exam sessions;
- additional traineeships activities;
- additional research for final dissertation.
Target: Registered Master’s and PhD students in the broad fields of biochemistry, chemistry and pharmacy
