Human Resources

The HR division focuses on professional and streamlined service delivery to benefit and support the strategic initiatives of Stellenbosch University, including the optimal support of the management of its human capital. Your main contact at HR will be the consultant that you dealt with. However, if you need any further information that entail HR matters, you can visit their website here: https://www.sun.ac.za/english/human-resources/Pages/default.aspx

There are a number of events that HR and SUI arrange for newly appointed staff and especially international staff. HR has an ONBOARD programme that they offer throughout the year to equip and inform newly appointed staff about systems, process and structures at the University. This will be a good opportunity to engage with other newly appointed staff as well as receiving valuable information.

SU International will host sessions throughout the year specifically aimed at new international staff and postdoctoral fellows. More information will be posted here, however  you are welcome to contact Lidia at lidia@sun.ac.za should you want more information on dates and event programmes.

Parking

Stellenbosch University offers staff, students and visitors parking on university grounds within the context of the SU's Parking Management System. This system allows for differentiated parking for the optimal utilisation of the limited parking available.
