EXPECT LOAD SHEDDING
As is the case elsewhere in South Africa our campuses are subject to load shedding. You will be informed about venues with emergency power where you can study, as well as special arrangements for lectures and the writing of tests and exams. Power cuts after dark may have a negative impact on academic preparations, and increase safety risks.
You are advised to purchase a head lamp, torch and rechargeable light for your room to ensure you are not caught off guard by power cuts.
