Capture space:
Our Tygerberg laboratory is situated in a large dedicated space fully equipped for neuromechanical analysis. It houses three floor-imbedded force plates and a 10-camera motion capture system that can be configured for large or small capture volumes using tripods. This space is also optimized for integrating with other measurement modalities such as EMG, EEG etc. It is used for testing a wide range of physical tasks including walking, running, jumping, sitting and standing tasks.

We comfortably host training events and consultation meetings with our students and clients at the facility.
