Applications for 2024 Stellenbosch University (SU) funding* opportunities re-open for a two-week period only: Monday, 16 to Tuesday, 31 October 2023.
Financial circumstances can change unexpectedly, and we encourage you to consider applying for SU funding for the 2024 academic year.
If you are financially eligible for the South African government’s National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) – gross household income before tax and expenses of not more than R350 000 per year and for a person living with a disability then not more than R600 000 per year – we strongly advise you also apply for SU funding. By doing so, you’d be registered on the CUBL database and be eligible for funding from the University in 2024 to bridge the financial gaps not covered by NSFAS allowances. NSFAS applications open on 28 September 2023 and close on 31 January 2024 (dates subject to change).
For instructions on how to apply and the link to the online application form, please review the Application Process tab https://finaid.sun.ac.za/application-process. Once you have prepared your support documents, the application will take only 15 minutes to complete.
Your application is not complete until you upload all the required support documents, and this is due by midnight of Tuesday, 31 October 2023.
