​​It is the pleasure of the Division for Learning and Teaching Enhancement (DLTE) to announce that the 2023 Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) conference has opened for registrations and submissions! 

This year will be an in-person event, hosted at the Stellenbosch Institute for Advanced Study (STIAS). The keynote speaker is Professor Chrissie Boughey. Prof Boughey is a retired (2019) Rhodes University Deputy Vice-Chancellor: Academic and Student Affairs. She has spent many years working in teaching and learning in higher education from a critical perspective, aimed at promoting social justice. All her published work draws on critical social theory as do the many doctoral students she has supervised.   ​
