Besides the credit-bearing short courses, the Department of
Afrikaans and Dutch also presents several non-credit-bearing work sessions
every year. The offer varies from year to year and includes different subjects
within the field of language practice and lexicography, for instance
terminology, computer-aided translation, the use of common language and
academic editing. Participants receive an attendance certificate.
