The Daan Strydom / HORTGRO Science Prize for the top performing 4
th year student in Horticultural Science

This year the Daan Strydom / HORTGRO Science prize for the top performing student in the Department of Horticultural Science goes to Ms Helen Marais. Helen is currently a first year MSc student at the Department conducting research on the influence of nutrition and irrigation on improving fruit quality of Nadorcott mandarin under the supervision of Dr. Paul Cronje. 

On behalf of the Department, we congratulate Helen on this wonderful achievement.
