The Department of Horticultural Science has a dynamic group of staff members that are dedicated towards research, teaching, and learning, but also care about their community. Research and teaching interests range from pre-to postharvest aspects and covers a wide variety of crops including deciduous fruit, subtropical crops, citrus, vegetables, berries, nuts and cut flower products. Postdoctoral fellowships further enhance existing research programmes and are encouraged.
