Mosa Phadi was recently awarded her PhD from the University of Johannesburg on What it Means to be Black in Post-apartheid South Africa. She has published various articles and book chapters and produced a research documentary, Phakathi: Soweto’s Middling Class. Currently, she works at Public Affairs Research Institute as a researcher. Her thematic work includes state formation, Blackness and class.
