The Faculty of Economic and Management Sciences will be holding a Research Day on 22 July 2022 to celebrate and showcase the Faculty's growing research culture.

Call for abstracts: Academic staff, postdoctoral researchers and PhD candidates of the Faculty are invited to submit abstracts for either oral or poster presentations. Three prizes will be awarded for the best presentation by a senior researcher; the best presentation by an early career researcher; and for the best poster.
Registration & abstracts: Delegates can register to attend in person or online as the symposium will also be streamed online. To register, complete the online form by 29 April 2022.

More about Prof Reinette (Oonsie) Biggs
Prof Biggs is the co-director of the Centre for Sustainability Transitions (CST) at SU and holds the Research Chair in Social-Ecological Systems and Resilience. She is the Faculty's first A-rated NRF researcher. She holds a joint appointment at the CST and the Stockholm Resilience Centre at Stockholm University in Sweden.
In her keynote address, Prof Biggs will provide an overview of her research, as well as a reflection of the key moments and events that have shaped her career.
