​Stellenbosch University, Central University of Technology, and North West University have been challenged by the University of the Free State, in collaboration with BESTMED, to participate in their pedometer challenge.

The pedometer challenge calls on staff to form groups of four and to record their steps over a period of eight weeks – starting on 10 April.  At the end of the eight weeks, the steps will be tallied and the university that recorded the highest kilometres will walk away with the coveted title of the fittest university. In addition to the top prize, the top teams at each participating institution will also receive prizes.

Taking part is easy – form teams of four, choose a team leader, register online at https://www.ufs.ac.za/stellenboschregistration and complete the indemnity forms  and start counting your steps!
