The Centre for Learning Technologies (CLT) provides training and support to lecturers on the incorporation of learning technologies at SU. One example of such learning technologies that form part of the basis of teaching, learning and assessment (TLA) at SU is that of the Moodle-based learning management system (LMS), called SUNLearn. The Learning Technologies Support department (LTS) at the CLT provides basic training sessions on SUNLearn, including advice and support on how to include technology like SUNLearn, Microsoft Teams and other University-supported software. It should be noted, however, that learning technology and support (LTS) at the CLT should not be confused with IT support. Please make sure that you contact the general IT Helpdesk by submitting a query via the ICT Partner Portal for any information technology (IT) and/or computer support and advice.
SUNLearn
Website
The Moodle-based learning management system (LMS) at SU is called SUNLearn. This platform is the virtual learning space where lecturers and students engage with one another, and with student peers, the learning content, and learning and assessment activities. Lecturers and students have access to this platform and can request training and support to advance their understanding and use of SUNLearn in augmenting TLA.
