African governance matters on leadership, land-, maritime- and cyber security form the core focus of publications by SIGLA affiliated researchers. These publications stem from four different streams.
First, an annual SIGLA Brief series by invited as well as SIGLA affiliated researchers that is distributed to the SIGLA online network.
Secondly, publications originating from SIGLA webinars, conferences and workshops that appears as a link under the applicable activity and listed under the Conferences and Workshops menu.
Thirdly, general outputs in newspapers, reports, working papers, publishing entities and news entities covering topics within the field of the respective researchers.
Lastly, accredited publications (Journal articles, book chapters and edited books) by authors holding a formalised Stellenbosch University affiliation.
The publications collectively make up the SIGLA annual output with the accredited cluster regulated by the Stellenbosch University listing of national and international accredited publications serving as a funding stream for ongoing SIGLA activities.
These outputs appear under Publications from 2021 onwards once confirmed by the Research & Development Department of Stellenbosch University.
