Members of the Stellenbosch University Convocation are invited to the annual general meeting of the Convocation on Friday 4 October 2024.
In terms of the SU Statute (2019) the Convocation is composed of (a) all persons on whom a qualification has been conferred at a congregation of the University; (b) the rector, the vice-rectors, chief operating officer and the full-time academic staff of the University; and (c) former full-time academic staff of the University who have left the service of the University on account of their having reached retirement age.
Convocation members can join the meeting either in-person or online.
When: Friday 4 October 2024

Where: Room 3010, Jan Mouton Learning Centre, Stellenbosch OR Online
Guest Speaker: Advocate Gerrie Nel, Head of AfriForum's Private Prosecuting Unit and former state prosecutor

Please submit any additional proposed agenda items for consideration to the Secretary of the Convocation, Bernard Pieters, by Friday 27 September 2024. The meeting will proceed as outlined in the SU Convocation meeting procedures.
