This exhibition provided the student leadership at Stellenbosch University with an opportunity to reflect on their experience of 30 years of democracy and transformation. By selecting artworks that resonate with their own stories of transformation, the students are elevating the function of the arts as a personal resource as well as disrupting curatorial convention.
