On the 2024 Nobel Prize in Physiology and Medicine awarded to Victor Ambros and Gary Ruvkun “for the discovery of microRNA and its role in post-transcriptional gene regulation”.

Prof. Hugh Patterton, Director of the Centre for Bioinformatics and Computational Biology

On the 2024 Nobel Prize in Chemistry awarded to David Baker  “for computational protein design” and  Demis Hassabis  and John M. Jumper “for protein structure prediction”.
