Stellenbosch University in collaboration with Stockholm University and Gothenburg University, both in Sweden, invites you to a one-day workshop in Stellenbosch to discuss with us the status quo of plastic pollution in Africa, particularly South Africa.

We will analyse the challenges that plastics pollution poses to the environment as well as livestock and human health and we will discuss potential solutions that
can be applied to South Africa and the continent at large. We further want to foster research on the terrestrial pollution pathway and plastics pollution management solutions for Cape Town and its surroundings.
