​​In celebration of the recently awarded 2018 Nobel prizes, the Departments of Physics, Biochemistry, Chemistry and Polymer Science, and Physiology invite you to a public lecture where a popularised summary of the work of each of the Nobel prize winners will be discussed.

Presenters:

Dr Carl Albrecht, former head of research at the Cancer Association of South Africa (CANSA), will talk abou the Nobel prize in Physiology

Prof Dirk Bellstedt from the Department of Biochemistry at SU will talk abou the Nobel prize in Chemistry

Dr Pieter Neethling from the Department of Physics at SU will talk about the Nobel prize in Physics.

The lecture will be followed by a reception in the courtyard of the

De Beers Building
