>>> Deadline for abstract submission extended to 17th of July! <<<
The first Postdoctoral Conference of Southern Africa will be hosted by
Stellenbosch University in honour of the centenary of the
University 03-05 October 2018 in Stellenbosch (South Africa).
Although still being
young, postdoctoral research is becoming the main driving force of
internationally recognised research in South Africa and southern
Africa. Contributing significantly to undergraduate and graduate
teaching, postdoctoral research also holds the potential to connect
African students with international research and job opportunities,
advancing transformation and development.
The aim of the conference is to bring together young researchers from all fields of research to create an interdisciplinary forum and emphasize the importance of postdoctoral fellows to drive research for 100 years into the future.
Do not miss the opportunity to become part of the evolving community of postdoctoral research in Africa! As a postdoctoral research in southern Africa, you can apply for talks, posters and workshops with any subject as long as it is related to your research. We will group talks into sessions that emphasis the interdisciplinary
nature of the conference.
