What support does the Postgraduate Skills Development Programme provide SU postgraduate students who are unable to attend face-to-face workshops on Stellenbosch campus?
There are a few online resources that are available to SU postgraduate students who are unable to attend the workshops in person. These resources are available on the programme's website and on SUNLearn. There are a few online resources that are available to SU postgraduate students who are unable to attend the workshops in person. These resources are available on the Programme's website and on SUNLearn. These online resources aim to support students who are unable to attend workshops at Stellenbosch Campus.  Additional online resources are being developed to add to the existing online resources, in order to fill the gap for off campus students in the near future.

What are Shut Up and Write sessions?
Shut Ups are typically informal sessions where writers get together on a weekly basis to write. The aim is to create a productive, collegial, enjoyable writing space. All postgraduate students or staff who are writing up their theses, dissertations or articles are welcome. The PG Skills Shut Up and Write sessions take place on Tuesdays from 12:45-14:30. These sessions are held on Stellenbosch Campus and also take place virtually via a WhatsApp group.

What are Pop Up cafés?
The Postgraduate Pop Up cafés are informal social gatherings geared towards all Stellenbosch University postgraduate students and supervisors. Pop Ups are held once a term over lunchtime (12:30-14:00) on a Thursday. Students usually participate in a research related activity and have the opportunity to share their research with others. These sessions are held on Stellenbosch Campus.
