​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​The DRD Travel Grants is a travel grant to undertake a research visit abroad (outgoing) or to host a senior international visitor at Stellenbosch University for collaborative research purposes (incoming). The focus is on early career researchers (busy with PhD or within 5 years after obtaining a PhD, or equivalent research experience) but deserving applications from established researchers will be considered.

 Eligibility Criteria:

• Only full-time C1 staff members (permanent or contract) and postdoctoral fellows may apply. 
  
• Staff should be South African citizens or permanent residents.
  
• Postdoctoral fellows should have study permits and remain at Stellenbosch University for at least 6 months after the date of return from travel.
