Women’s Day ( SA): Integrating Health and Business
Virtual Webinar
Women’s Day is celebrated on 9 August every year in South Africa. This day commemorates 9 August, 1956, when women of all races marched on the Union Buildings of Pretoria. Over 20 000 women attended the march to protest against the Urban Areas Act of 1950 amendments. This year, the FMHS celebrates Women’s Day with its second annual Spotlight Series event to highlight the efforts, wins, and challenges present in contemporary women’s issues, especially as they relate to the field of health. The event will focus on women who are leading a range of ventures that integrate health and business.
