SUNCEP is involved in several programmes that seek to provide supplementary education to learners who show potential to achieve results to access tertiary education after completing Grade 12.
- The supplementary tuition is in:
- Mathematics, and/or
- Natural Sciences and/or
- Physical Sciences and/or
- Literacy
- The tutors offering the tuition are selected in conjunction with the applicable provincial education departments (currently the Northern and Western Cape).
- These tuition sessions take place during the school holidays.
Scientific Investigation is also supported through the annual Expo for Young Scientists
