​​​​​As part of Stellenbosch University one of the core functions the PRASA Chair is educational training. The purpose of educational training is to transfer the research knowledge that has been gained to PRASA in order that they may use it to improve their process and ultimately improve the service to the fair paying public. There is no one-size-fits-all approach that can be taking to transfer the knowledge and the skills that have been developed. Each research project is analysed in order to establish at which organisational level within PRASA the training needs to take place. There are three primary routes that information is disseminated into PRASA. Firstly by means of the MDW platform, secondly through workshops seminars and finally the information can be passed on to PRASA by means of short courses.
