Marianne Strydom lectures family violence, child protection, family preservation and family counseling. Marianne is also the coordinator of the practice education programmes of the third and final year students.
Her research interests include the following: Family preservation, developmental based family support programmes, child abuse and neglect and contracts between welfare organisations and universities.
