SARChI Chair in Meat Sciences: Genomics to Nutriomics

The SARChI Chair in Meat Sciences: Genomics to Nutriomics was awarded in 2013, with the group focus on the impact of environmental factors that influence the quality of fresh and processed meat products. Professor Hoffman, a recognized world- leader on meat quality and product development, will lead the activities of the group, with co-chair Prof. Voster Muchenje of the University of Fort Hare.
