Services available for SU Postdocs

Location: IT Hub in Admin A building
• Visit the card activation office for a picture and card issuance.
• Access card enables entry to specified areas.

• Post-doctoral fellows may apply for parking under the staff category, here
• The details of the postdoc fellow may also be sent to the parking coordinator by the postdoc with a copy to the Postdoc Office email (postocinfo@sun.ac.za) in order to be loaded on the system.

• Borrow up to 15 items for 30 days per item.
• Renew items twice (maximum 90 days) if not requested by others.
• Return items at any Library and Information Service site.
• Reserve books currently on loan for free and unlimited times.
• R1 fine per item per day for overdue items.
• Borrowing suspended at R30 fine limit.

• Access specific research software packages through the SU software hub using institutional licenses, https://www.sun.ac.za/softwarehub
• Make sure first that your password is up to date at: https://maties2.sun.ac.za/rtad4/useradm/
• And that your SU email is registered with your department, you can contact your departmental secretary to confirm.​​​
