Outcome of the election of an SU Council Member from the Electoral College of Donors to serve on the SU Council for a four-year term.
Members of the Electoral College of Donors were called to participate in the election to fill the vacancy of a donor to serve on the SU Council in terms of parr 6(l) and 9(2) of the SU Statute.
In the 30 days allowed for nominations by members of the electoral college of Donors, we only received one valid nomination for Mr Bernard Fick. As there is only one vacancy for a donor on Council, we consider Mr Fick duly elected.
His term will start on 15 October 2024 for a four-year period. We wish him well and thank him in advance for his service. Thank you to the members of the Electoral College who participated in this process.
