​​​​​​​​​​The Centre for Student Information System​ Support operates Stellenbosch University's Student Information System (SIS) and coordinates its further development and maintenance, as well as handling some of the information requests for data from SIS. The Centre is responsible for managing operational processes for the institution, including maintenance of the institutional curriculum, student applications, admissions and registration.​

Core responsibilities:

• Monitor and support SIS
  

• Ensure data quality and integrity

• Training of SIS users

• Execute core actions as per SIS year calender
  

• Servicing of ad hoc information requests

• Implementation of SUNStudent, the new Student Information System
